FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Resonance

How do AI voice covers work?

Resonance automatically separates the vocals from the instrumental track using HTDemucs, then converts the vocals to your chosen AI voice using RVC v2 neural voice conversion. The result is mixed back with the original instrumental for a seamless cover.

How many credits does a voice cover cost?

Each voice cover generation costs 5 credits. New accounts receive 10 free credits to get started. You can purchase more credits through our subscription plans.

What audio formats are supported?

We support MP3 and WAV files up to 10MB in size. For best results, use high-quality source audio with clear vocals.

What happens if a generation fails?

If a generation fails for any reason, your credits are automatically refunded to your account. You'll see the refund in your credit transaction history.

Can I upload my own voice models?

Yes! You can upload custom RVC v2 voice models (.pth files) to share with the community or keep private for your own use. Visit the Models page to get started.

What is pitch shifting and when should I use it?

Pitch shifting adjusts the vocal pitch by up to 12 semitones. Use negative values when converting female vocals to a male voice model, and positive values for male-to-female conversions. For same-gender conversions, keep the pitch at 0.

Can I download my voice covers?

Yes, all generated voice covers can be downloaded as WAV files. You can also publish them to the community feed to share with other creators.

How long does generation take?

Most voice covers are generated in 1-3 minutes depending on the length of the audio and current queue depth. You'll see real-time progress updates while your cover is being processed.
